Well, here we are. This week has been going well! We have been doing alright. We found a lot of people this past week so that's good. Just knocking doors and talking to people. It's been going pretty well. We've also had our walking days, but that's normal.

This monday was awesome. We had a Zone Conference with President and half the mission and it was awesome! I learned a lot. It gave me a lot of energy to work for the last bit of my mission. Not that I didn't have it before, but this conference gave me even more. If there is one thing I've been learning on the mission, it's pushing even when we aren't going anywhere. Even when I don't see anything going right, I've learned to just keep going, and I'm glad I've learned that.

So we've been having a great time! Not too much to report about, but we've been doing good!

So the pictures that I've got this week are of the same thing. Elder Paz is about to go home, he has this one change left. So we already planned his P Days so that he can have the most fun possible. This is Elder Gallardo making Milanesas, an Argentine food. They were delicious!

And the other is just our table. That was our lunch today, it was awesome!

Changes

Well, the big news on changes. I stayed, so nothing new on that one. We only had 5 changes in the whole zone of 24, so it was kind of a low numbered change. But I stayed here in Pedro Aguirre Cerda.
I'll be here for at least 6 more weeks.

But we've had a pretty good week. There has been a lot of walking involved.
But it's been worth it. We have found a few people.

This change President and the Leadership council decided to do something new. We are all going to divide our sectors. So for us, we are going to be working in half the sector and the other guys in the other half. It's going to be a little hard to get used to. We used to all just have to stay in the ward. But now there are going to be specific limits for everyone. We'll see how it goes.
It's going to be interesting.

But anyway. We're doing good! And this week was really fun! Look... This is a picture of the four of us that live in the house, Elder Ahlstrom, Elder Paz, Elder Gallardo and I. We got another fardo of ties this week!

The second is just a sample of all the ties that I got today. I got a lot more than this haha.

And then that's my Zone Leader that just left. His name is Elder Gomez.
Really good guy.

This is the end of a long week haha. We did a lot of walking in the past week. A lot of people that we were working with stopped progressing so we had to stop teaching them. But we can tell it was necessary because we have also been finding a lot a new people that might be interested.

But we have been doing well. We have been good though. Just a little walking but it's not like walking is something new haha. We're used to it. But we are excited because a few people are progressing. The Martinez family is still doing good. We are hoping to put a date with them soon.

I know this is kind of a short letter, but it reflects the week that we had haha. But today was cool! One of Elder Ahlstrom's old comps is going home, so we went to an asado to see him off. And a few of my friends were there so it was cool to see a few people I haven't seen in a long time. One of them being Elder PiƱeyro. He's doing good and everything! There we are!

And then I found a sick soccer jersey and I couldn't turn it up. It is from Real Madrid, so Brandon might not be too happy. But it isn't Cristiano Ronaldo, it's Benzema so don't get too up in flames haha.

And that's a close up!

General Conference was awesome! I didn't bring my notes on it, but I remember a little bit. It was really good! Unfortunately not a lot of our investigators and less active members came, because they would have benefitted a lot from it. It was really awesome! We watched it at the Stake Center, and we all watched it in spanish, but still I feel like I got a good percentage of it. I don't remember a lot of the things that I learned in there, but I do remember how I felt. It made me feel a renewing of my testimony of the living prophets and apostles. I know the words that they said to us were inspired.

That, and fun fact. Elder Zeballos from the Quorum of the 70, yeah I've met him. He's Chilean. Just thought that would be a cool fun fact.

Anyway, just felt like giving a quick update with the Martinez family. They are doing really well! It was really awesome! We watched the video Because He Lives with them, it's right there.

It was really cool to see that they were so into it. I know it probably didn't lead them closer to their conversion in a regular way. But they felt a lot closer to Christ, and if we can accomplish that, we are on the right track!

So I didn't take a lot of pictures this week, but we saw a really cool car in the street! But that's all.

Conference

Alright this week I've got more time. Good week. It was actually a really good week! A lot to tell about this week!

Well a week or two ago, I was on divisions with Elder Pinto, my District leader, and we were just knocking on doors. We contacted a woman named Patricia, and she told us to come back. Alright, but when we came back, she wasn't home. But a little while ago we were in the area with nothing to do, so we decided to just stop by. And she let us in right away and we taught an amazing lesson about the Restoration. There was such a great Spirit! And then, after she asked us to come back to teach the rest of her family! And they are all great! We saw the video of the Restoration with Joseph Smith, and it was incredible! Her and her husband have 3 kids, and they are all really interested in learning! The Martinez family! They are going to come to part of General Conference this weekend, and then start coming to church regularly the week after that! We are super excited for that!

And then this Sunday. Well Nicole Sepulveda, (who me, Tafur and Groen worked with and eventually reactivated) recently had her baby. She made contact with me and Tafur and asked if we could get permission to go and bless her baby in Sacrament Meeting because her husband isn't a member and can't do it. So we talked to President Cook and got permission to go and do it. So Elder Tafur and I returned to Covarrubias last Sunday. And it was so crazy going back. It was crazy to see all the people that I had worked with there in the chapel. But we were able to bless her baby. It was so awesome! I was glad to see that after 10 and a half months in the same ward it has grown so much.

So it was a huge week for us! I was really grateful to have it. The little bits of success make the lot of let downs worth it. I have learned that patience is really important in life.

Anyway. Today we went to Corbata Hot Dogs that have the famous 50 centimeter completos. I put one down again!

And there is a picture of Elder Tafur and I with Nicole and her baby. Her name is Amalia.
